My research interests are broadly rooted in understanding the structure and dynamics of marine populations. Currently, my research focuses on investigating the community structure and trophic ecology of deep-pelagic ichthyoplankton assemblages in the northern Gulf of Mexico. The dynamics of early life stages of deep-pelagic fishes are poorly understood, and our aim is to improve understanding of their contributions to pelagic food webs, vertical migration patterns, and connectivity with the upper ocean.
