I am interested in examining the impact of climate variability on marine ecosystem at multiple timescales. I use coupled ocean-biogeochemical models to understanding ocean dynamics, and to develop forecast scenarios of how lower-trophic levels may be impacted by climate change and variability. Coupling ocean-biogeochemical models to Individual Based Models (IBM) is another of my research focus. Particularly, I am very interested in examining dispersal, growth, and survival of small pelagic fish. My current research project is about the impact of Climate Change on biogeochemical processes in the Gulf of Mexico.
